Practical Teaching Experience
Practical Teaching Experiences (PTE) allows future educators to arrange ideas where instructional development and ideas come into play. Lesson plans give teachers and administrators the platform to organize a lesson. Quick Response (QR) Codes are an efficient way to navigate to a link. Additionally, Digital Posters can be useful to display various ideas and concepts at once. Padlet permits users to create these posters as well as view them.

Digital Poster (Padlet)

As mentioned, Padlet allows for any user to organize their thoughts in the form of a poster, slideshow, chart, map, etc. In this digital poster specifically the subjects of Assistive Technology (AT) and Differentiated Instruction (DI) are discussed. Differentiated Instruction is the process of implementing alternative learning styles, needs, strengths, and abilities based on the requirements of their students. Assistive Technology are various uses of software in the form of equipment, systems, or an item that is modified or customized to increase a student's ability to function with a disability.
My Lesson Plan
Lesson plans allow teachers to organize the ideas they plan to share in class. This includes implementing the set curriculum and expectations into lesson planning. The link below shows a sample lesson plan when organizing different ideas. Including strategies like Universal Design for Learning (UDL) shows the importance of inclusion for all students.
A few of my classmates and I worked together to make our own sample lesson plan. Click the image above to view our lessons and how we used principles like UDL.
QR Code
Quick Response (QR) Codes are very helpful in quickly directing users to sites and links. Teachers can use this tool to display more than one link at a time, track attendance, and make announcements. This system is so useful because of the simplicity of creating one. Below is a link to guide others in making their own. You can also try out my QR Code above.
